The first
edition
The first UAE InnovAIte Hackathon was held from 1 to 3 March 2024, with the in-person finals at the DIFC Fintech Hive.
More than 300 students signed up, forming over 100 teams. The weekend ended with in-person presentations, where every finalist team pitched a unique AI solution to a panel of judges from government, industry and education.

Speech-to-text records lessons, and generative AI expands on each topic so students can go deeper. The judges praised its innovative use of technology to aid education. The team won a trophy from the National Program for Coders, AED 2,000 in cash and AED 2,000 in Hale Education rewards.

Meet the
founding team
UAE InnovAIte was founded in 2024 by Aadi Jain, with co-founders Maha Nawaz, Rushabh Jain and Aryav Odhrani. Together they built the first national AI hackathon run by students, for students, and set the foundations every edition since has built on.
